Volume 28, Number 10 Michael Wins Victory Medal, Indy Title With two Red Baron Fight wins and an Armistice Day title already to his credit, Michael Morgan needed only a squadron title and a Victory Medal to round out his Indy Squadron resume. He got it last weekend. The 28th Indy Squadron Armistice Day Fits Tournament was held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Hometown Comics & Games in Greenfield, Indiana. The 9-player turnout was the highest since the 2010 event, while the 93-point winning score was the lowest since the modern scoring system was instituted in 1994. | |

Volume 28, Number 9 2016 Armistice Day Scenario Announced The 2016 Indy Squadron championship gaming day will be held at Hometown Comics & Games in Greenfield, Indiana at 11 am on Saturday, November 9th. For only the second time in the 28-year history of the Armistice Day Fits Tournament, the mission scenario will be set on the Italian Front with fresh, different airplanes for both sides. The mission date will be November 3, 1918 - the last day of the war on the Italian Front - to reflect the earlier signing of the Armistice in that region. Please review the mission scenario below. Every plane has advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately the key to airplane choice is altitude. Some planes will have the edge up high, others a slight advantage down low. Mission altitude will be determined randomly immediately before the game begins, so everyone has an equal chance at guessing right or wrong. Even if you guess the starting altitude wrong, your plane will still be competitive. We will make every effort to stay on schedule this weekend, so please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the plane choices so that we can start the Armistice Tourney in a timely manner on Saturday.
